Tips On Winterizing Your Toyota Vehicle From Our Service Department

• Check Tire Pressures: Properly inflated tires ensure the best contact & traction between the tire & the road.
• Snow Tires: Increase safety & handling in snowy conditions.
• Inspect Belts & Hoses: Cold temperatures can increase the wear on these items, have them inspected before the temperature drops.
• Inspect Wipers & Wiper Fluid: Old & worn wiper blades can reduce visibility in winter conditions, have them replaced to ensure you can see out! And ensure your wiper fluid is topped up.
• Check Battery: Cold temperatures can reduce your battery's power, have your battery tested for performance.
• Carry An Emergency Kit: Better to be safe than sorry, carry essentials like a flashlight, 1st aid kit, blanket etc.  Westminster Toyota has available Emergency Assistance Kit for purchase.

What is Bluetooth?

• Wireless technology that allows drivers to use their cell phone hand-free in the vehicle

Why is this important?

• It may soon become illegal in BC to drive while talking on a cell phone.  Ontario has recently introduced this law & BC is sure to soon follow.  For more information see this article from CKNW News.
