> Customer service initiatives: Phone Call Monitoring
As part of our continuous and on-going efforts to improve the way we respond to our customer’s needs, we have installed a system to monitor all our incoming and outgoing phone calls. This is being done with the following objectives in mind:
  1. To improve the quality of our responses to incoming customer calls and the nature and quality of outgoing calls.
  2. To gain a better understanding of the type of calls we are getting from our customers, specifically, what are the customers looking for the most, when they call in.
  3. Monitor the response time from our Team.
  4. To assist in Training current and future Team members.
  5. To effect changes to our systems, procedures and practices based on information gathered from monitoring the calls.

We thank you for your co-operation and understanding in making this initiative a success and welcome any and all suggestions for improvement .In the coming months, we shall keep you informed of changes that we may make.

> DanaStats: International Joint Commission (IJC)
Canada and the United States share significant quantities of water between their borders. Many rivers lie along or flow back and forth across the border such as the Milk River that rises in Montana, crosses the international border into Alberta, and then flows back into Montana. In fact, it is estimated that more than half of the 8,840 kilometer Canada-US border passes through water. Sharing and managing this amount of water between any two countries is indeed a daunting task.

> Issues of WaterCareHeavy Metals in Drinking Water
Heavy metals in water refer to heavy, dense, metallic elements that occur in trace levels, but are very toxic and tend to accumulate.
Most heavy metals are too rarely found in water to justify government regulation, but a few have been given an MCL (Maximum Contaminant Limit) by the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency.
> Techi-Tips: Ultrafiltration
Ultrafiltration (UF) is a membrane treatment process that uses pressure to force water against a semipermeable membrane, filtering out bacteria, viruses, oils, organic chemicals and suspended solids, while allowing water and dissolved salts to pass through.
