A Meticulous Ferment:
Beth Lipman & Kirsten Hassenfeld
June 23 – August 15, 2010
ICA at MECA, 522 Congress Street
Opening Reception: June 23, 5-8pm
This two woman exhibition of magnificent objects and installations
unfolds on a grand scale as the result of masterfully obsessive labor.
That grandeur is shadowed, however, by an insidious dissonance lurking
below the alluring surface.

Each summer, more than 30 high schoolers spend a month on the MECA campus participating in Pre-College, an arts immersion program. Now in its 36th year, the Pre-College program offers students a taste of life and education in a professional college of visual arts,
as well as the opportunity to develop a portfolio and to earn
college credit.
