Countdown to 600K in
60 Minutes!
In 3 days the Heidelberg Project has an exciting opportunity to change Detroit history!
The Community Foundation for Southeast Michigan
has invited the Heidelberg Project to participate in the Community
Foundation Challenge - Arts & Culture, an online fundraiser.
- CFSEM will provide $1 for
every $2 gift, so your $100 donation will become $150.
- $200,000 is the maximum
match our organization can earn on $400,000 in total gifts.
This
means we have an opportunity to earn up to $600,000, but the money will go fast, so we're asking you to
respond quickly.
The challenge begins in 3 days! Set up your login and become familiar with the site here but do not make your donation before Tuesday, August 18th at 10am or it won't be matched.
We’re calling our campaign 600K
in 60 Minutes. (Check out our video!)
What we've already accomplished:
-
Educated visitors and residents about the power of art, community and environment
-
Partnered with
volunteers from local organizations to beautify Detroit
-
Connected internationally
through exhibitions like the Venice Biennale
-
Hosted performances
from the Juilliard School and community picnics
What
we plan to do with the money:
- Build
the House That Makes Sense, a facility for our children's programs
- Develop
an amphitheater where locals can showcase their talent
- Create
more community gardens
- Hire
more neighborhood residents to help us
How you can help:
Connect with us by clicking here at 10 am on August 18th to make your donation.
Remember, the money will go very fast, so don't be late! Let us know if you plan to contribute - email Michelle.
