The “Mujeres del Canal” Catering Collective was created in 2007 as a project of the Concilio Comunitario del Canal (Canal Community Council). With support from Canal Alliance, the collective has provided opportunities for women of San Rafael’s Canal neighborhood to draw upon their unique cultural heritage while developing their economic self-sufficiency.
