HOT TIPS
TO STAY COOL

- Soak a T-shirt in the sink
in cool water (not cold or chilled water). Wring it out and sit in the shade, or in front of a fan.  You may want to save this one for when you're alone unless you are going for that 'wet T-shirt' contest!

- Fill a plastic spray bottle with water and freeze overnight.  You will have a cool mist that will last for hours.

AVOID SUMMER MIGRAINES

Flowers are abundant but so are allergies, bright sunlight and hot days causing dehydration and triggers for some migraine sufferers.

Fragrance loaded summer products like sunscreens and heat stress, especially during exercise, are important to avoid if you are susceptible to these triggers.

Stay well hydrated, especially if outdoors by drinking 6-8 ounces of water every hour.

Try to purchase fragrance free products when possible to avoid these kind of triggfers.

Bright sunlight can often lead to migraines in photosensitive sufferers so a good pair of polarized sunglasses can really help.
