A TASTE OF NCC IV

We've had so many requests from people still hoping to purchase tickets to Nickel City Chef's Taste of Autumn Dinner on October 15th. And while we are completely sold out, we do have another great opportunity for anyone interested in sampling the talents of a Nickel City Chef.

On Sunday, October 11th, Chef Adam Goetz will open the doors of his darling restaurant, SAMPLE, to host a special three-course meal featuring the items he prepared for the recent September Nickel City Chef competition. Other Nickel City Chefs will be on hand; it looks like it's going to be great fun! The dinner is only $45 per person, but reservations are limited, so make yours by contacting SAMPLE today.

The secret ingredient for September's Nickel City Chef Challenge was five different varieties of potatoes raised by Oles Farm in Alden. Chef Goetz made use of this ingredient in a myriad of ways that will satisfy and delight guests. The menu is as follows:

--Breakfast & Lunch--
Gnocchi "Cheerios" with Vichyssoise "Milk", Housemade Pork and Potato Sausage with Curried Slaw on Purple Frites

--Potato Medallion--
Stuffed and Fried Scallion, Potato Jus, Mashed Potato Foam, Potato Vinaigrette, Parsley and Grape Salad

--Batadada Cake--
Whipped Ricotta, Port Wine Blueberry Reduction, Mint Oil
