spreading hope
Thank you for partnering with Collision as we continue to “Unite. Empower. Serve.” students to spread hope among their peers. Following are a few highlights from last week:
  • On Wednesday night, we were at Oak Hills Baptist sharing vision with their Middle and high school youth group to “Go!” into their schools and make disciples. As a result, we had students make a commitment to start Discipleship Making Movement groups in their school.
  • We had an initial meeting with a church in Brandon to talk strategy and explore opportunities for partnership.
  • Students from Roosevelt High School held a worship and testimony night on Thursday. Students talked about their growing confidence and desire to share what Jesus is doing in their life and share the gospel with their peers.
  • We had an early morning phone call with a church planter in Budapest, Hungary to discuss strategies of igniting student-led movements in Budapest schools.
  • Our staff and student leaders made and served breakfast at Sioux Falls Christian Schools’ teacher in-service day. We thanked them for our growing partnership, spoke words of encouragement and students shared how their students have been going outside the classroom and school walls to work with students from Whittier Middle School, Memorial Middle School and more.
  • Collision staff and students from Canton went to Watertown on Sunday to discuss the student-led movement and to train youth leaders and student leaders on DMM strategy and training.
We praise God for the transforming work He is doing in students’ lives. Thank you again for partnering with us.
  • Thank God for teachers and the impact they are making on students.
  • Thank God for the leadership seen in so many students as they feel a call to spread His Name in their schools.
In Christ,
Angie Glasser and the Collision Staff
Prayer Requests:
  • Ask the Lord to strengthen Christians in the schools with power, to be filled with boldness, kindness, patience, and joy.
  • Pray for the Washington High School students who are leading a worship and testimony night this Friday night (at Tre Ministries 10pm-12am). Pray for those attending to be impacted and called to action by the testimonies shared.
