Movement and Momentum!

Our days are filled with a combination of moments that unite, empower and serve middle and high school students. Here are some of the moments from last week as the student-led movement of hope continues to grow and build momentum throughout the Sioux Falls region:
  • Three Whittier Middle School girls made salvation decisions last week in their Discipleship Making Movement (DMM) group.
  • A Washington High School student that is involved in Collision’s student leadership preached at his church this past Sunday.
  • During the Edison Middle School Collision student leadership meeting, one girl told how she had shared the Gospel with a fellow student during a lunch hour.
  • Plans were solidified to start Collision Café at Lennox High School on Wednesday mornings.
  • Additional students are expressing interest and uniting to start a movement in Harrisburg.
  • Collision staff met with several churches to share vision and explore strategic partnerships.
  • DMMs continue to grow in almost every school where Collision has a presence.
  • Canton High School students held a Worship and Testimony Night on Saturday where close to 50 students attended. Students led worship, shared their life-changing stories, the Gospel message was shared and youth cared and prayed for each other. Several parents also came together during the event to pray through the school yearbook. Currently, there are 100 students involved in 10 DMMs and their goal is to see 250 students involved by the end of the school year.
God is on the move! Thank you for continuing to partner and pray with us.
  • Praise God for each specific way listed above that He met and worked through individual students this past week.

Prayer Requests:
  • Pray for Lennox's first Collision Cafe this Wednesday.  Pray for students to intentionally connect with their peers.
  • Pray for students to share what God is teaching them through scripture and life in general in a natural way in their daily conversations.
  • Two DMMs are wanting to start from the Washington High School Collision Cafe this morning.  We thank God for the boldness of students who decided to be intentional in their early morning conversations this morning.
In Christ,
Mike Abraham and the Collision Staff
