Seriously! How can anyone doubt the surging increase in the number of kids experiencing homelessness? Those of you in the trenches sure know. But some people still don't get it, which is why HEAR US is launching the LEARNING CURVE EXPRESS. We're serious about helping people to understand the scope of homelessness...and to be inspired to do something about it.

LEARNING CURVE EXPRESS Ready 2 Go!
This is the 5th, and perhaps most ambitious,cross-country trip for HEAR  US president/founder Diane Nilan. She's heading eastward for presentations in OH, PA and NY (see events). Along the way she will film interviews with families and teens doubled-up and/or living in motels for the new HEAR US endeavor...
...LEARNING CURVE EXPRESS (2-min. intro video), the instrument to give policymakers and the public greater understanding about how difficult it is to stay with others (doubled-up) and/or in motels because you have no home.
LCE will film interviews and post short YouTube videos to give voice and visibility to the otherwise invisible families and teens. Diane will invite their local congressperson (or staff) to view the video, and will offer more information about this often misunderstood form of homelessness.
LEARNING CURVE EXPRESS will be on the road for the next 7 months.Diane's route is being developed. Check with her if you're interested in hosting LCE.

Diane's recent trip to Franklin, IN led her to Laura and her 2 teen boys, invisibly homeless, bouncing between her parent's ramshackle single-wide trailer and other friends and relatives' houses. Laura's story will soon be posted on the HEAR US Learning Curve Express site.
