The New Jersey Academy for Aquatic Sciences is the education and research partner of Adventure Aquarium, and has been delivering marine and environmental education programs for over 20 years to schools, libraries, and at the Aquarium.  In addition to add-ons such as classroom lessons and tours you can choose for your field trip, we offer teacher professional development opportunities, field programs, traveling programs and much more.

It seems as though in the past 20 years, everyone started carrying bottled water.  We see it when we go to the mall, at kid’s sporting games, or even walking around the Aquarium.  What happens to all of those bottles?
We know it’s important to recycle...but do we know why?  What can we do as teachers to help our students understand the importance of recycling and why they should do it?
