Campaign Update: 42 Schools Safer So FarThe campaign for safe speed zones is moving ahead fast -- Walk SF’s advocacy has won new 15-mph speed limits at 42 schools throughout the city as of last week! This week, the police will be reporting on their enforcement efforts to make sure drivers are obeying the limits and creating safer conditions.Walk SF is looking to win new zones at 200+ schools by the end of this school year -- calming traffic in neighborhoods all over the city, and doing it fast. Walk SF will also be working with Mayor Lee to get the word out about the new safe speed zones, so more drivers know to slow down for kids (and everyone else!). For more information or to get involved in this campaign, email info@walksf.org. Campaign Update: Pedestrian Action Planning BeginsAction!
