It's Showtime! We are officially one, let me repeat that... ONE month away from the the 2010 Green Lifestyle Film Festival! The film festival just seems to keep on getting bigger everyday! This is going to be a night to remember... famous celebs, gourmet organic hors d'oeuvres, and movie stars galore all ready to strut their stuff on the green carpet. On top of that, dinner and a movie(s)! What more could you ask for?

Ladies and Gentlemen... Presenting the OUTDOOR ARENA!
We are blessed and very excited to have a wonderful variety
of entertainment going all weekend long!
Our outdoor arena will be filled with all kinds of music, dance,
creative workshops, and plenty of food.
The Green Lifestyle Film Festival is bringing together influences from
cultures all over the world and is creating a new type of atmosphere for people
to step away from all of the violence and hate of the “real world” and into an
area of multicultural peace and growth through collaboration.
Alongside the Bollywood dance troupe, Move Bollywood, led by
the well established Reetu Patel, we have everything from hip-hop and pop with
the Luminaries and Maxso to an evolution of the two known as
"hippie-hop" with The People's Party. We have singers and songwriters
like Kristin Hoffman (who sings the theme song for the festival "Song for
the Ocean"), Estherleon, and Karl Anthony (www.karlanthony.com). There will be yoga
workshops on stage with Jin Lian Hua from "Yoga of Joy" to Hilary
Kimblin of "At Peace Healing." There will also be a Temple Bhajan
Band as well as a presentation by one of the filmmakers, Nicole Moore of the

Bill Ryerson: Official 2010 GLFF Keynote Speaker
Friday night is guaranteed to be full of big names and popular faces and we are expecting a huge grand opening. As President and founder of Population Media Center, Bill is well versed in the power of entertainment-education to address population and reproductive health issues. Bill has made PMC a pioneer in the use of new methodologies for informing people about reproductive health issues and promoting behavior change.
Everybody get ready because Mr. Ryerson is sure to set the tone for this year's Green Lifestyle Film Festival.

“Welcome to Local Edition, I’m Brad Pomerance…” and our
official Emcee for our Friday night opener March 19th. You may recognize this charming man as
the anchor for Local Edition on CNN HLN.
Brad was also an Anchor and Reporter for LA City View/Channel 35 and
KDOC’s Daybreak OC. His work on
Local Edition and Channel 35 has earned him two Emmy nominations as well! He
has a history of working with and interviewing politicians and celebrities
about the specific causes they are passionate about and we know that he will
represent us to the best of his ability!

Westside Food Bank: Produce for Progress

Westside Food Bank is changing people's lives one fruit at a
time. Based in Santa Monica, CA,
Westside Food Bank has been helping to get people off the street and pointed
them towards helping other people live healthier, inspired lives.
Volunteers and the Westside team have dedicated themselves
to distributing as much nutritious food as possible to local food assistance
charities, and to reducing food waste on the Westside. From distributing about 100,000 pounds
of food to six agencies in 1981, Westside is now distributing four million
pounds of food to sixty-five agencies.
The food bank is the first vegetarian food bank in the
United States as well and is certainly making a difference by turning people to

Introducing Johnai iDaniel, an up and coming fashion
designer that is trying to revolutionize the way we represent and perceive
ourselves through our clothing.
While he has done quite a bit of work with major shoe brands like
Converse and Vans, he primarily works with eco-vegan shoe making companies. Johnai is using his artistic talent to
inspire others and he encourages an expression of our inner beauty, reminding
all of us not to restrict ourselves from our true selves. Check out his facebook and myspace
under his brand Coni Oppo. He’ll even be designing a custom pair for Lil’ Maxso!
