"Expression... Experience... Exposure... What do those words mean for you?"
MAY I Help You ?
SCHOOL'S ALMOST OUT!
Oh that's just for me... That probably doesn't mean anything for most of you, but I thought I'd share some of my excitement with all of you.
I don't know if this is how you feel, but almost all of my uncles, aunts, and friends of friends of my parents always make a point to tell me how they wish they were back in college, living the good life.
And I have to tell you that sometimes I wish I was out there in the "real world" doing something worthwhile, getting my hands dirty, and bringing home the bread as some like to say!
Funny how that is huh? A lot of times we are wishing we were in someone else's shoes... that just somehow that person's life is "More exciting" or he or she is "so much happier" than we are...
Everyone's got their own life to live so stop letting me bore your life with my story and go out this month and discover (or Re-discover) your own!
Enjoy the summer by giving your mind a rest and enjoying who you are.

| Reach Film Fellowship Applications Due July 1 |
http://www.cinereach.org/newsletters/100506/
| Dear Friends, |
|
We're
reaching out to you, a small group of our peers, because we know you
have a great eye for spotting emerging talent we would not find
otherwise. As the deadline for the 2011 Reach Film Fellowship approaches,
we'd love to know of early-career filmmakers you've worked with who
stand out. We'd also be grateful if you could help spread the word
about our application deadline, Monday, July 12 (at 12 midnight EST).
The
Reach Film Fellowship is an intensive seven-month program that provides
a $5,000 grant, mentorship, and other invaluable resources to four
emerging filmmakers per year as they make artful films (fiction or
nonfiction) with socially relevant themes.
Early-career filmmakers who have completed at least one short film are
eligible to apply. Applicants also must live in or near NYC between
August 2010 and April 2011. More on how to apply can be found here.
