A very warm welcome to your March HR News from Workforce Guardian.
In this edition you’ll find information about three significant enhancements we’ve made to the Workforce Guardian service.
The first two – improved personnel files and an upgrade to our alerts and reminders feature – will be live later this month.
We’re also very pleased to announce that all time-based charges for calls to our industry-leading HR Advice Hotline
service have now been waived for HR Professional
and HR Platinum
subscribers. Our friendly team is accordingly now available to provide real-time, phone-based advice for all our higher-level subscribers at no additional charge. So, if you’re an HR Essential
subscriber, now might be a great time to upgrade your service.
Finally, a word of warning about rogue operators impersonating the Fair Work Ombudsman (FWO). In recent months we’ve been made aware of a number of other HR firms claiming to be endorsed or recommended by the FWO. In some cases, employers have even called – or been called by – an ‘Advice Line’ which they were led to believe was the official FWO service. You can read more about these deceptive practices here
Rest assured we have brought this conduct to the attention of the relevant authorities. In the meantime, be very careful who you speak with, and be careful to avoid signing up to expensive, multi-year contracts with such services.
Thanks and have a great month.
