Since 2004, Lift Every Voice has offered leadership, performance, and mentoring opportunities to urban youth, who partner with professional actors, directors and playwrights to write and perform an evening of original works. Through short or longer-term residency programs in New York high schools, the program fosters voice and develops leadership skills by creating opportunities for experiential learning, creative risk-taking and self-expression.
