Low Carbon Cement

Blue Crete is a low-carbon footprint alternative to Portland concrete that uses a unique geo-polymer binding agent. It looks like, acts like, and works like Portland cement, but no heat is required in its manufacturing process, so it has much lower embodied energy. It is also produced from 90% post-industrial content. Blue Crete is water retardant and acid retardant; discourages the oxidation of rebar; has high tensile strength; and has a near zero coefficient of expansion and high compression strength. Blue Crete will cost end-users 10-15 percent less than Portland Cement.
