Citizen Spotlight

We need you!
The Virginia Coalition for Open Government is the state's only voice in the Virginia General Assembly dedicated solely to access issues. But legislators like to hear from citizens about the impact of certain bills more than they like to hear from paid lobbyists. Let us know if you would be willing to come to Richmond to testify bills this session.

FOI Advisory Council

Virginia to host NFOIC conference

The Virginia Coalition for Open Government will host the annual summit of the National FOI Coalition.

Mark your calendars for May 7 and 8 at the Key Bridge Hyatt in Rosslyn (Arlington).

Ornament 13.gifWhen making donations to charitable causes this Christmas, please consider the Virginia Coalition for Open Government. More than two-thirds of our modest operating budget comes from member dues and gifts. We simply could not do the work we do without the contributions of caring and committed folks in the Commonwealth.

All donations and dues are tax deductible. Go to our Web site to donate online (this page includes links to our IRS W-9 for charitable donations, and a link to a hard-copy donation form). Give to VCOG this holiday season.
