Hello Peterson Families! This is Mrs. Crissman. We hope you had a fabulous weekend and had time to review your child's report card which was sent home on Friday. Please be sure to sign the report card envelope and return it with your child tomorrow.

Monday, March 22nd, we begin the first day of Healthy Lifestyles Week and have a lot of wonderful things planned to celebrate!

Wednesday, March 24 from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM, we will have our Family "Fun" Raiser at the Souplantation in Costa Mesa, which offers a lot of healthy food choices for all ages. Bring the special Souplantation flier and they will donate 15% of our purchases to Peterson. Please check your child’s backpack for a flyer, drop by the office to pick one up, or print your own at www.petersonpta.com.

This week our third grade classes will be learning all about the Bolsa Chica Wetlands, and keeping our earth healthy! They will be viewing a special slideshow on Monday and will be taking fieldtrips to visit Bolsa Chica on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Friday, March 26th, of course is our annual Jog-a-thon! We hope all our students will participate and we encourage parents to come and cheer for our kids. If you haven't turned in permission slips and donations, please do so as soon as possible.

We hope all our Peterson families celebrate Healthy Lifestyles Week by making good healthy choices for their bodies and the environment!
