Hello Peterson Families!

This is Mrs. Crissman calling with some reminders for the week! This Tuesday, April 20th is our next Family "Fun"Raiser. From 12PM-9PM stop by Round Table Pizza and Dippin' Dots for an after school snack or yummy dinner. Not only will you see lots of friends from school, but you may also see one of your favorite Peterson teachers serving up treats at Dippin' Dots! Just bring the special flier to Round Table or Dippin Dots located in the Newland Center at Beach & Adams, and Peterson will earn a percentage of your purchase. Also be sure to check backpacks for the 'Red' Family Dinner Fliers that were sent home. We are very excited for this year’s “PARTY IN THE USA AT PETERSON” a Community Celebration & Street Fair, scheduled for Friday, May 14th - 5:00PM to 8:00PM.
Be sure to order your tickets by sending in the attached red order form.

The HB Adult Education School is hosting a Parent Education series that begins this Wednesday evening, April 21st, “Systematic Training in Effective Parenting.” This is a nationally-recognized program taught by a child development specialist and filled with sound strategies for parents of K-5 children. The class will meet at Edison High School in Room #109 for six Wednesday evenings, 6:30-9:00p. I encourage you to consider participating. Fifth grade parents, please mark your calendars for our fifth grade promotion planning meeting scheduled for Wednesday, May 28th at 1:30 in the Primary Library. If you are available, please join us as we discuss the preliminaries for this year’s promotion event.
