Speakers: Robyn Nasuti and Brett Nasuti

Brett Nasuti's multiple severe food allergies have brought him unexpected fame in recent months. He is the first person to successfully complete a treatment that appears to have eliminated the threat of dangerous reactions that he and his family have lived with almost all of his life. Brett and his mother Robyn Nasuti will speak about their experiences and answer questions.

How do you handle eating in restaurants locally and when you travel?

Do you have stories about bad experiences: how could they have been prevented or what can be learned from them?
How do you teach your children to "ask the right questions" and make safe decisions?

"Children with Food Allergies: Practical Tips and Recent Developments"

Speaker: Allergist Michael Pistiner, MD

Learn about managing food allergies from a dynamic speaker with a unique perspective as an allergist and a parent of a child with food allergies. Topics will include prevention, preparedness, and how to recognize anaphylaxis, as well as updates on research and treatment.
Dr. Pistiner will also report on his work on a task force to implement a new state law on food allergens in restaurants. There will be time for questions. Bring along others who care for your children.
