We are a little late getting an email out.  This edition is just a quick update and will serve as a teaser for a more complete newsletter in a couple of weeks.

The upcoming newsletter will have a story about Sunny, a street dog who has found it's way to Victoria; kickoff of our annual calendar project; a grateful young pet owner; how to recycle plastic and help PATA and more.

Thanks to a dedicated group of volunteers, the PATA Manzanillo March 2011 Sterilization Clinic set new records.  On the final day of the clinic we sterilized 77 animals, a one-day record for us, and over the five days we sterilized 298 animals, also an all-time high!

This important community work couldn't happen without all of our supporters.  This includes volunteers and donors.  We wish to thank each of you from the bottom of our hearts!

So far in 2011 we have completed 8 one-day clinics, sterilizing 143 animals.  When added to the street animals sponsored by PATA and sterilized by Dr. Gaby and those from our March Clinic, that brings us to a total of 479 animals sterilized in 2011.

In addition to our work in Manzanillo, PATA Manzanillo has also sponsored a couple of mini-clinics in Colima.  The next one will be held on 3 September.  Come help us help the community.
