London Exhibition - Private View Invite!

I am delighted to be asked to exhibit my collection of work at Cloisters. This will be my first show in the capital, and a perfect opportunity to get feedback and appraisal from the people of London, and further afield.

This collection of work is made up of landscapes of London, national and international locations. My main focus of work is colour - I paint the emotion of a scene rather than specific detail. Colour, tone and harmony are the key elements of my art.

(10% of sales go to The Eddie Quist-Arcton Trust).
 

Viewing is by appointment only, but you (and anyone else you can think of!) are invited to my Private View. Details below. If you could let me know if you would like to attend the PV evening, this would give me a clearer idea of numbers.

'New Beginnings' CT6 Contemporary Art Group Spring Exhibition 

The first CT6 group show of 2010, of which I am a member, will be on April 29 - May 2 and May 6 -9, at The Bay Art Gallery, William Street, Herne Bay. 10-4pm, admission free. This exhibition is going to be tied in with People United and We All Do Good Things which is celebrating the good nature in everyday folk, and collects good news stories. Something we all like to hear about!

I have also been working on the new website for The Bay Art Gallery/ CT6 Contemporary Art Group. This should be online very soon!

I have recently become involved with life drawing classes with my art group and will aim to produce a good volume of work to go towards either a group or solo show showcasing the work later in the year.
