Reviews: Local Shows
As well as my major show in London, I have been involved in two other local ones.
''Beginnings' Bay Art Gallery, Herne Bay, Kent ( A CT6 Contemporary Art Group Show)
This was a successful show and visited by many people - many thanks to them for supporting me and the rest of the CT6 Contemporary Art Group! The show was further extended (unofficially) thanks to Carl Stafford who had his exhibition after ours and gave up the upper floor gallery space for our work.
''Forever England'' Chimeara Gallery, Tontine Street, Folkestone, Kent.
Another successful exhibition at Chimeara Gallery! It was highly visited and linked to the celebration of all things English and St Georges Day.

Coming This Summer...
Next Exhibition:
June 26th: Chislet Fair. I will have a stall of work along with members of my art group. We were there last year and it was a great day out for everyone. For a traditional fete atmosphere plus many interesting stalls, this was an ideal event.
Hope to see you there!
July 3 - September 11: Art From Artefacts. Herne Bay Museum, William Street. I and other members of the Ct6 Contemporary Art Group will be participating in this very special exhibition celebrating all things to do with Herne Bay. We've been given a brief to select an object from the museum collection and offer our own piece to relate to it. I have picked two paintings of mine and compared them to a couple of Victorian photographs to see how, even though the viewpoints are identical - the landscape, surroundings and even socialogical changes are evident.
Private View: July 5, to be opened by the Lord Mayor Of Canterbury.
The official listings:
''Inspired by objects from museum collections and using a variety of art forms, members of the CT6 contemporary art group explore the significance of Herne Bay and its place in the wider world.''
Free entry. Open Monday to Saturday 10am to 4pm, and Sundays in July and August, 1pm to 4pm
Created by the Ct6 contemporary art group as part of the A History of the World project in partnership with the BBC and the British Museum
