Boston Healthcare for the Homeless Talk
Wednesday, February 5, 7:30pm at the Beacon Hill Friends House

Jim will lead a discussion about the needs of homeless people in Boston, with a special emphasis on the impact of extreme winter weather. Read more and RSVP here!
Mission Hill & The Miracle of Boston

Join us for our quarterly Dinner & A Movie event, presented in partnership with The Color of Film Collaborative. The evening's film, Mission Hill & The Miracle of Boston (1978) tells the story of urban renewal, racial conflict, and the struggle of a neighborhood to survive through changing times. Souper Bowl 6: Soup Kitchen Benefit 
Sunday, February 9, 4:00-7:00pm at Haley House Bakery Café

bowl2 2What could be better than warm soup on a cold February afternoon? How about a dozen warm soups, all sourced from local ingredients? Add in a handmade ceramic bowl (that you get to take home) and you've got the gist behind Haley House's popular Souper Bowl event. Join us this Sunday afternoon for a delicious array of soups and beautiful bowls made in collaboration with MassArt's Clay for Change and the Center for Art and Community Partnerships. Lost Breweries of Roxbury & Jamaica Plain
Tuesday, February 11, 7:00-9:00pm at Haley House Bakery Café
In 1900, Boston had the most breweries per person of any city in the country. At least 24 of those breweries were along the banks of the Stony Brook. Learn about the history of brewing in Boston and the people who established breweries in our city at this slide talk by Michael Reiskind, vice-president and historian of the JP Historical Society. Michael will be joined by Filipe E. Oliveira of Percival Beer in Dorchester. The brewery's Dot Ale 1630 is now on sale at Haley House Bakery Cafe. Read more about the event here

Jared Leeds Artist Opening Reception

Teachers Are AWESOME Launch Party

Haley House Bakery Cafe invites you to a teacher appreciation event for educators from all levels and types of school. Join us for a fun evening with free hors d'oeovres! Local beer, organic wine, and non-alcholoic beverages will be available for purchase. There will be a special raffle for a lucky teacher (or two) to receive money for a special project, field trip, or school supples!
