Not for Nothing
January 31, 2018

Nothing in nature is ever wasted.
Every mayfly has a purpose,
if only for one perfect day.

You may not fulfill all your dreams,
win all the prizes,
solve all the mysteries,
or enjoy even one your fifteen minutes of fame,
but that has nothing to do
with whether or not
your coming here matters.

You are the Invisible Everlasting,
Expressing uniquely as you.
No one sees what you see,
feels exactly what you feel,
or loves the way you love.

Give up comparing yourself to others.
What you have, no one else can take from you,
even if they wanted to.

Your soul is precious to the Divine
and ever in Its keeping.
Like the mayfly,
you will soon be gone from this earth plane.
But know this regarding your time here:
it was not for nothing.
