True Freedom and Peace
August 30, 2017

Freedom and Peace do not come
from our relationship to outer things.
People who own a lot of stuff
are responsible for that stuff.
That is not necessarily freedom.
People who have power over others
have karma because of those relationships.
That is not necessarily peace.
True Freedom and Peace come
from the Spirit of the All Good.
If you wish to experience
greater freedom and peace in your life,
seek first to know the Spirit,
and all else will be added to you.
Pray about it, meditate upon it,
and let your words and actions
be guided by your Higher Self.

This is how to be the change
you want to see in the world.

Seattle Peace Project June-September 2017
The creator of this project, Troy Reicherter, will be with us Sunday.
Amazing Grace joins a number of other regional faith communities
in encouraging you to participate in this four-month peace experiment.
Modeled on a 1993 peace experiment in Washington, D.C.,
and a number of others since then,
which showed a decrease in local crime when large numbers prayed for peace,
we will meditate or pray for peace daily.
Download apps for Apple or Android
to record your meditation time, to help to measure the impact
