The Gifts of Time and Space
July 26, 2017
 Eric msg 1
       message people places things

Spirit loves us so much
It invented time and space
as aspects of the physical plane.

Time allows us to experience
one thing after another.
The Eternal, which is outside of time,
experiences all things at once.
Divine Mind is so vast It can handle that,
but for us humans that would be too much.

Space allows us to have a conception
of ourselves as separate from other things,
and other people.
To even have a sense of self,
we have to have some distance
from all the physical things around us.

Next time you worry about being late,
or running out of time,
give thanks for the blessing of time
in the first place.
Whenever you are feeling crowded, or alone,
give thanks thank you have a self
that can even feel these things.

Seattle Peace Project June-September 2017
The creator of this project, Troy Reicherter, will be with us Sunday.
Amazing Grace joins a number of other regional faith communities
in encouraging you to participate in this four-month peace experiment.
Modeled on a 1993 peace experiment in Washington, D.C.,
and a number of others since then,
which showed a decrease in local crime when large numbers prayed for peace,
we will meditate or pray for peace daily.
Download apps for Apple or Android
to record your meditation time, to help to measure the impact
