It's the Little Things
December 14, 2016
 Eric msg 1
       message light in the darkness
The Hindu Saint Sivananda
described life as a series of small details, actions and thoughts,
all with far-reaching consequences.

Mother Teresa said she couldn’t do big things,
only small acts of love, out of which
she created a mighty and far-reaching life of service.

Stop wishing for a magic bullet to solve your problems.
It’s daily acts of mindful service to the world
that produce your real wealth,
not a hoped-for lottery ticket.
If you’re lonely, find something or someone to love today.
Be too busy loving your life and those around you
to be worrying about where your Mr. or Ms. Right is.
Your great romance will find you when you take the pressure off.

Taoist wisdom declares that constant drops of water
wear away a stone,
and the Buddha said a journey of a thousand miles
begins with a single step.

It’s the little things that matter.
The big world will take care of itself.
Do your work with dedication and love,
and you will surely reach your goal.
