Many Paths to Enlightenment
October 19, 2016

Everyone seeks transcendence.
Some religions call it nirvana;
Some call it salvation and the reward of heaven.
Hinduism calls it Self-Realization,
Muslims, purification of the soul.
In Judaism, it’s Righteousness.
In the end, no matter what you call it,
it’s all conscious union with the Most High.

Selfless service is the physical path.
Prayer, worship, and devotions are the path of the heart.
Studying holy scriptures is the mental path.
Meditation is the direct path of the soul.

Pursue them all.
Or stick with the one(s) calling to you.
They all work, and none is superior.
Simply chase after the Beloved with all your heart,
with all your mind and with all your soul.
This is what makes life worth living.

You can run away from the Spirit for only so long.
Even in the depths of your private hell,
the I AM is always waiting for you with open arms.
