You Have a Right to Complain
November 21, 2018

Our most precious gift from Spirit is Free Will.
In the space of your own mind, you can really think
whatever you want to think,
and believe whatever you have come to believe,
even if your belief is shared by no one else,
and is completely contradicted by proven facts.
Flat-earthers, take note!

You can complain about your circumstances
all the day long.
That is a right that no one can take away from you.
Sometimes, complaining to the right person(s)
can actually improve your situation.
Just watch out for the tendency
to make complaining a way of life.
You don’t want to be a kvetch (a nice Yiddish word
meaning a person who complains all the time).
And you definitely don’t want to become a BITTER kvetch!

The antidote to kvetching is gratitude.
Instead of always looking for something to complain about,
try looking for something to be grateful for.
After all, it could always be worse!

Happy Thanksgiving, Everyone.
