The Clear Mirror

Buddhist scriptures refer to the Buddha Mind
as “a spotless mirror.”

When someone attains conscious Union with the Divine,
their actions always come from a pure motive,
their words are always loving and patient,
and they add beauty to life wherever they go.
A person who has “polished the mirror”
of their consciousness
reflects the unblemished light of the Infinite.

What you broadcast to the world,
mentally, emotionally, verbally, and physically,
comes back to you in perfect correspondence.
This is good news!
You are a Buddha in the process of Awakening.
Through meditation, prayer, giving, study, and selfless service,
you are removing specks on your mirror.
Or perhaps you are becoming the kind of person
who only sees Holiness in everyone and everything.

Time to stop looking for specks of dirt?
