Festival Fanfare Winter 2010
This edition of our newsletter brings some exciting news including a forthcoming major fundraising event. Also details of our new-look Patrons and Donors Program and a general update on how plans are underway for the next Festival to be held from 1st to 10th April 2011.
Our Festival director Marin Paten and his team have been working hard to put the final details of the 2011 festival program in place. The overall outline of the program has been presented to the Board who have given their tick of approval, so now the detailed planning begins. Venues are being secured, artists have been booked and our logistics teams are hard at work determining the day-to-day operations for the 10-day extravaganza.
As always the program promises to be inspiring and challenging with something for everyone. There will be opportunities for local artists to perform and present their art alongside artists of national and international repute. There will be performances and exhibitions that appeal to the young and the not quite so young, schools, families, those seeking cutting edge art in all its forms and those who enjoy the more traditional.
Make sure you put the dates of the 2011 in your diary now and plan to join us in the great arts celebration that is The Castlemaine State Festival.
