Prize Basket Donations Needed for Tractor Parade Winners
Bridgett and Karen are still at work trying to wrap things up for this year's Tractor Parade. They are in need of both cash donations to offset costs of the event, and donations to fill the prize baskets for the winners of the parade. If you or your business can help with either or both of these needs, please contact Bridgett at North County Properties 857-1728. Prizes will be awarded at the December Geyserville Chamber holiday dinner. Get your reservations NOW!
Thank You and Merry Christmas!
This beautiful tree is now lit and will grace our Park & Ride Plaza in downtown Geyserville through the holiday season. A special thank you to Ken, Diane and Sydney Wilson for donating this beautiful tree from their Rockpile ranch.
Also, a special thank you to our wonderful singers that helped make the carol sing-a-long at the tree lighting such a melodious success.
Thank you to the evening's emcees: Tracy Peterson Garces and Corin Burns (at Geyserville Elementary) and Brian Crebs and Joe Pelanconi (at the Fire Station); and, of course, Supervisor James Gore and Senator Mike McGuire (at the Park & Ride Plaza) who kept those who were listening informed and laughing all evening. The Chamber would also like to give a big thank you to Karen Waelde and Bridgett Petersen for the countless hours put into organizing this event and making sure it went off without a hitch. We would also like to thank our "Chamber Photographer" Rick Tang for always being at the ready at all of our dinners and events and for providing photos of the event for this newsletter.
And, finally, special thanks to American Ag Credit, Senator Mike McGuire, the County of Sonoma and North County Properties for sponsoring this event.

Help Digitize Geyserville Newspapers

Many of you know of, and have contributed to, the Healdsburg Museum's efforts to digitize our local papers and get them posted online. This is an ongoing project with the California Digital Newspaper Collection at the University of California Riverside. They have successfully completed the first phase of this project, and now have all of the Healdsburg papers entered into this searchable online database. They are now seeking to raise additional funds to add Geyserville's newspapers to this digital archive. Please contact the Healdsburg Museum to find out how you can help. Call the museum at 431-3325 or email info@healdsburgmuseum.org for more info.
