See You at the Geyserville Tree Lighting & Tractor Parade!
Tractor Parade and Tree Lighting Update
Karen Waelde, the event coordinator, signals that she has found the tree for this year's event on the Wilson family's Rockpile ranch. Todd Petersen, Ted Elliott, and Bill Green will be harvesting and installing the tree in the plaza in the next couple of days. We extend a special thank you to Ken & Diane Wilson for the beautiful tree. In advance, we would also like to thank Todd, Ted, and Bill for their help, as well as the Geyserville Fire Department for their aid in stringing the tree with lights in preparation for the lighting ceremony.
We Need You!
We also need volunteers to help the night of the parade and to help join in the singing around the Christmas Tree in the Park & Ride Plaza. If you can help in any capacity, or would like more information, please call Bridgett or Karen at 857-1728.
Again, we also want your PARADE ENTRY! If you haven't yet filled out your parade application form, there's still time. The form has more details, and we would love to have YOU participate.
If you have friends or guests coming into town for the parade, please let them know they can drop folks off in town and park at the High School on Moody Lane or the Grange Hall (Oriental Community Hall) at the corner of Moody Lane and Hwy. 128. Also, there will be limited parking available in the PG&E lot and the gates will remain unlocked until 10pm.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone.
See you on Saturday!
