Join "Mad Science" of Fairfield for some awesome hands-on experiments.

Matter of Fact
Investigate the ingredients of the universe! Build your own marshmallow molecules! Play alchemist by turning a nickel into gold (well, almost) and use our secret formula to make your own silly putty!

Using a tree-shaped form, kids will fashion their own beautiful tree with grout and colorful beads. Artist Katie Stevenson will provide the instruction. Use it as a holiday decoration or give it as a gift. Registration required. Call 203-797-4528, stop by the Junior Desk, or register online.

Make a sparkling addition to your holiday decorations! Using a tree-shaped form, you’ll select your "jewels" and fashion your own tree using grout. Get some well-deserved "adult time." Amanda Evans is a freelance harpist with over 15 years experience. She recently became a member of the Trio Cantabile, a harp, piano and voice trio which performs concerts year round throughout New England. Amanda plays a concert grand harp, which is capable of producing more complex and diverse pieces than a smaller Celtic or lever harp.
