This is a quick note to let you know we're hard at work for MA forests and parks!


Applications for the Friends Network Representative to the Off-Highway Vehicle Advisory Committee due 12/1/2010.

If you’d like to be considered for the position of the Friends Network Representative to the Off-Highway Vehicle Advisory Committee (OHVAC).

Please send a statement of interest to the Friends Network Facilitators friend@networkingfriends.net

We’ll compile a list of candidates and set up a survey vote. Once elected, our representative’s name will be submitted to the Council.

Biomass Regulation Comments Due October 21

The MA Department of Energy Resources filed with the Secretary of State a draft proposed regulation 225 CMR 14.00 pertaining to the eligibility of woody biomass for the Class I Renewable Energy Portfolio Standard.
 
The proposed regulation and an overview of the changes, along with notice of a Public Hearing on October 15th and opportunity for public comment through October 21st, can be found at DOER’s website
