Spring is on its way! Really... it is. And we certainly are going to appreciate the warming temps after this long cold winter. We have a number of exciting upcoming Spring Events that will help you celebrate this year's much-anticipated change of seasons:
Maple Syrup Day & Pancake Brunch
March 29, 2014
Winter will give way to spring before we know it and then the sap will be flowing in the maple trees. That’s maple syrup time at the Audubon Center!
We invite you and your family to join us for a pancake brunch and hands-on maple syruping program. Learn which trees in the woods are maple trees, and the
history and process of making maple syrup. Then, help us will tap some
maple trees, collect and haul sap, and observe the sap being processed
in to liquid gold maple syrup.
Brunch is served from 10 am to 2 pm and the programs/syruping
stations will be open from 10 am to 3 pm.
Cost for brunch and program is $15/adult, $10/child (5-12 years); if
you just want to come for the programming, cost is $5/person
Reservations are required - 888-404-7743
