We are open for play, even when schools are on winter break, and we invite you to check us out! Sarah will be here on weekday mornings from 9:30-11:30 am with a variety of fun activities. We will be closed on Mon., Dec. 26 and Mon., Jan. 2 for legal holidays.
Registration is full for the Creative Drama series, after school on Wednesdays beginning Jan. 18. The series is presented by Northwest Children’s Theater, and enrollment is free, thanks to the generous underwriting of Portland Pearl Rotary Club. If you would like to be placed on a wait list, contact info@zcommunitycenter.org.
Sarah is looking for volunteers to help lead morning activities. Volunteers will handle the hosting duties and welcome people into our space. Talk with Sarah or sign up in our lobby if you would like to volunteer.
Zimmerman Community Center provides fun, affordable space, centrally located in Portland. Over the past week, a family held its going-away party here, there have been two birthday parties, and a local foundation convened leaders from libraries, foundations, and nonprofits to figure out how to give away one million books to children in Portland. We keep our rates affordable to make this space available to all.
