PATA 5-Day Sterilization Clinic

PersonOperating Roomas Ayudando a Todos los Animales (PATA) held a very successful 5th annual multi-day MASH style sterilization clinic where 286 animals were sterilized using the complete sterilization process.  Friends of PATA "sponsored" one day of the clinic by committing to the funding of 60 animals at $22 USD each.  Thanks to very generous donations of material received by PATA, the Friends of PATA funds actually sterilized about 110 animals!

Many times people will ask why should we worry about animals when there is so much human suffering around?  Controlling the population of animals on the street directly affects the health of the community.  Therefore animal welfare programs are actually public health programs, they are just executed through animals.

Friends of PATA Video Program

This year a donor provided funds to allow Friends of PATA to take advantage ofFlip Cameras a product donation of 2 Flip Video Cameras at a fraction of retail.  This allows us to loan cameras to Manzanillo animal welfare programs to create videos showcasing their programs.

PATA was the first to do so and their first two videos can be seen by clicking on the following 2 links.
