DOWNLOADABLE PURCHASE REQUESTS

Thanks to a donation by the Kingsport Book Club, KPL will be able to purchase downloadable audio and eBook titles to add to their existing R.E.A.D.S. inventory.  KPL will purchase duplicate copies of titles with multiple holds to decrease your wait time. 

Feel free to request titles for other purchases - fiction/non-fiction/audio/eBooks, etc.

Dr. Bass, a world-renowned forensic anthropologist, founded the University of Tennessee's Anthropology Research Facility - the Body Farm.  He is also half of the writing duo Jefferson Bass.

Sponsored by the Friends of the Kingsport Public Library and Eastman Chemical Co.  Profits from the event will be donated to the Kingsport Public Library Building Fund.

Advanced tickets go on sale at the Kingsport Public Library on Tuesday, November 2.  Cash or check ONLY.

WEBSITE IMPROVEMENTS

The library's website has been redesigned and we've added a few things.  Check out the new teen and kids pages. 

Teen pages have list of new books, links to popular teen author information and photo wall. 

Kids pages have lists of books for children by age, homework websites, videos about children's books and authors and information for parents who want to encourage their child's reading.
