New Cycling Racks Downtown
The City of Peterborough has installed two new bicycle racks on George and Charlotte streets in downtown Peterborough. These stylish, automobile-shaped racks, which can accommodate up to ten bicycles each, are located on re-purposed parking spaces in front of Wild Rock Outfitters and Hot Belly Mamas. Many thanks to the great folks at both Hot Belly's and Wild Rock for supporting the installation of these racks, it's fantastic to see the prioritization of cycling and in the downtown core!

Bicycle Repair Stands Downtown
Don't let a mechanical failure end your ride! The City of Peterborough, in partnership with B!KE: the Peterborough Community Cycling Hub, have installed a bicycle repair stand at Peterborough Square. This stand has a pump as well as many of the common tools necessary for basic bicycle repairs. A second stand has also been installed outside B!KE's workshop, which is located at 336 Rubidge Street. A third stand will be installed on the West Bank of Trent's Symons campus later this summer. Do you have a fourth location you'd like to see a stand installed? Let us know!
