Sidewalk Strategic Plan Update Public Meeting: Tomorrow!

Walking is an essential form of transportation and sidewalks are the single most influential infrastructure component affecting rates of walking in our community. In 2008, the City of Peterborough developed a progressive plan to govern the development of sidewalks in the city. This plan ranks all missing sidewalks in the city according to a set of criteria to determine which sidewalks are the most important to provide.

The City is currently updating the criteria used to rate sidewalks, and is looking for public feedback to inform this process. This plan can help to ensure that Active Transportation infrastructure in the city of Peterborough is developed effectively - make sure to provide your feedback on this update!

A public information centre will be held to provide some context and an opportunity to ask questions and give feedback.

Wednesday, November 21, 2012
4:00pm - 6:00pm
Presentation at 5:00pm
Simcoe Street Transit Terminal
190 Simcoe St, Peterborough

Presentation boards are available here. A comment form is available here.
