Tour, Talk and Tea: The Myles Standish State Forest Final Resource Management Planning Workshop — Infrastructure and Operations.
Sound boring? It's not!
Dear Friend,
The final Resource Management Plan (RMP) workshop is happening at the Myles Standish State Forest (MSSF) this Saturday. More than just another meeting, you'll enjoy Regional Director Brian Shanahan's first-ever Friends' tour of the forest's facilities, where you'll see projects underway in the forest's workshop. After the tour we'll head to the Conference Building for a lively discussion. Assistant Forester John Dubois has agreed to an interview to reveal "A Day In the Life of a MSSF Supervisor". You'll get to ask John questions about what it's really like to manage a the forest (day and night) during camping season.
But wait—there's much more. Take a look at the agenda. We have a very compelling line-up of discussion leaders. We'll also serve "High Tea". Why are we going to all the trouble? Because your input into the MSSF RMP is important to the forest. Please see below for more information
