Hello Fellow Tea Enthusiast,
Happy Holidays! It is that time of year. To make your holiday shopping easier, take advantage of the 20% savings on all items purchased until January 01, 2012. Just type "Holidays2011" under Promo Code at checkout. Do not forget about free shipping for purchases over $100.00.
As many of you probably already know, the price of Pu-erh made from gushu (old-growth tea trees) coupled with the rise of the value of the Chinese Yuan has caused the price of aged Pu-erh to appreciate significantly over the last couple of years. Consequently, we will be adjusting the prices of our teas accordingly beginning on January 02, 2012. This would be a good opportunity to stock up on your favorite teas or give someone special a healthy and tasty tea gift before the price hikes.
I just came back from a tea-buying trip in Asia. This time I visited the Oolong plantations in Taiwan and the black tea plantations in Yingde, Guangdong. I also met with a renowned Pu-erh collector and savored the 1950's Discuss Tea Cake (Te Beeng). I will be writing more on this later. In the meantime, look out for new Bana tea offerings in the weeks to come.
In this edition of the Bana Tea Leaf-let, we will cover the following topics:
-
An award-winning tea: Teasures from Five Mountains.
-
Introducing some new teas and some nice gift ideas for the Holidays. Free
gift wrap on request.
-
Upcoming tea programs at the Bowers Museum.
Check us out on Facebook. Also, do not forget to follow us on Twitter (Banateacompany).
