Dear Parents and Teachers,

At the start of the celebration of Catholic Schools Week, I would like to thank our parents for their continued support of our schools. I recognize the great sacrifices you make to send your child to our schools and assure you that we are working hard everyday to build on the unparalleled legacy of academic achievement, personal and spiritual growth that are hallmarks of Catholic education.

And what is a school without teachers? You nurture the God-given gifts that each of our children possess and help produce future leaders and adults that understand our call to service in the Mission of Jesus. Thank you for your commitment and dedication to our students.

Catholic Cardinals
On the occasion of the elevation of Cardinal-designate Edwin F. O'Brien to the College of Cardinals, students in our Catholic schools will be learning about the duties and role of a cardinal. Superintendent of Catholic Schools, Dr. Barbara McGraw Edmondson will travel to Rome for the consistory, when Cardinal-designate O'Brien will be formally elevated to the College of Cardinals -- on February 18th.
