volunteer big deal
The library is thankful for all of the time and talent our volunteers share with the library. In 2017, our volunteers logged 3,680 hours of service. They assist with book clubs, knitting, chess, and Mah-Jongg groups, shelving, story time and more! We rely on and appreciate our library volunteers all year long!

The FRIENDS of the Dripping Springs Community Library

A Call for Volunteers!

FriendslogoWe are looking for our next Board and Committee member volunteers. If you share a passion for our community library and its programs and wish to promote the public use of the library, foster an appreciation of the library's cultural and educational value to the community, encourage and support improvement of the library's resources and services, and would like to volunteer your time and talent to an awesome group of bookworms, then the FRIENDS of the DS Community Library wants you.

A Call for Cookbooks!

Do you have gently used cookbooks collecting dust in your kitchen pantry? Don't need your printed cookbooks on your counter anymore? The FRIENDS volunteers are collecting cookbooks for the next fundraising effort. Make space in your kitchen pantry or on your counter by donating your cookbooks to the FRIENDS. Drop off at the DS Community Library.
