We are gearing up for Earth Celebrations’ 3rd Annual Hudson River Pageant – 2011, an ecological art project and performance art event engaging youth & community to restore the Hudson River’s native species & habitats & address climate change In New York City. We hope that you will join in and participate in our puppet & costume workshops March - May, and culminating theatrical pageant along the downtown Hudson River Park on Saturday May 21, 2011.

Hudson River Pageant
An ecological parade with 13-site specific performances
along downtown Hudson River Park
SATURDAY MAY 21, 1-5PM
(Rain Date Sunday, May 22)
The Parade of spectacular costumes, giant puppets, and live musical bands, includes performance, dance, poetry, and music along the piers and significant sites, celebrating the history, current issues, and future restoration of the river. Featuring: Oyster Planting, River Cleansing, Live Fish Release & Boat Dance.
