Working at the frontline of the Festival

Maintaining a car-free neighborhood for a month requires a lot of work and coordination. Community buy-in and the provision of realistic alternatives are only part of the equation. Indonesia's Bike Bandung travels to EcoMobility World Festival

The EcoMobility World Festival team welcomed two Indonesian activists to Suwon during the final week of the month-long car free experiment. Hailing from Bandung, capital city of West Java province, the group travelled to the Festival to connect and exchange with local EcoMobility activists and to explore how the Festival neighbourhood could inspire them to further develop their own EcoMobility project, Bike Bandung.
