Diversity key to G21 Forum success

G21 recently held its 2018 Stakeholder Forum, bringing together speakers from diverse backgrounds and professional fields.

The day provided a range of thought-provoking and challenging ideas on a wide range of subjects, all of which were in some way relevant to the G21 region.

Almost 300 people heard from Premier Daniel Andrews, Opposition Leader Matthew Guy and State Greens Leader Samantha Ratnam.

With the November State Election looming it was an opportunity to focus the leaders’ attention on election commitments. It was no coincidence that the both the Premier and the Opposition Leader used their visit to the region to make announcements.

The forum also included an inspiring speech by ABC TV’s Dr Julia Baird, weaving together personal experiences and political and social observations, pointing to a worrying decline of ‘respect’ in areas of society.

Pictures from the day are here.
